10 Villefranche is a luxurious interior decorated townhouse ideally situated in the heart of Franschhoek, 100m from the Huguenot Monument and a mere stroll to many world-renowned restaurants, galleries, and shops.

This duplex townhouse is bright and elegant with a spacious open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen opening onto a beautiful garden with its own private swimming pool and BBQ/braai facility with majestical mountain views all-round.

 

We are extremely excited to share with you that we have installed back-up power systems including solar, we want to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay for all our guests at 10Villefranche.

The townhouse has two spacious en-suite bedrooms each with their own balconies, air-conditioning and heated towel rails.  The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom two single beds, all extra length.  Both bedrooms offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Things to do in the area:

  • Pick up a permit and map at the Information Centre, hike and explore the Mont Rochelle Reserve.

  • Enjoy a day out at the Babylonstoren farms magnificent gardens which include a rice field, spice garden and a fruit and vegetable garden with great botanical diversity ending the day off with a gorgeous meal and wine tasting at the Babel.

  • Experience wine tasting on horseback.

  • Hop on the Franschhoek Wine tram and visit a collection of wineries within the village.

  • Wine and dine in the majestical setting under the ancient Oak giants and explore history of LaMotte at the museum.

  • Take a stroll up old Cat se Pad‚ a walking trail.

  • Enjoy a bottle of wine at the top of the Franschhoek Pass and watch the sun go down.

  • Play golf at Pearl Valley, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.

  • Dine al fresco at one of the many street cafés.

  • Take a helicopter ride and see the valley from a different perspective.

  • Hire a mountain bike and go cycling in the mountains surrounding the valley.

  • Enjoy the La Petite Ferme cellar tour hosted every morning at 11am (by appointment).

  • Watch the chocolatiers at Huguenot Fine Chocolates in action making their fine confections (Tours can be arranged).

  • Boschendal, Grande Provence and Mont Rochelle offers the perfect picnic spots for those hot lazy summer afternoons.
